Soy Garlic Saucy Noodles Heat Level: mild

First, I am shocked by the serving size of these noodles. They tell you each box has "2 servings" and they show you models making it with big disks of noodles.... did you know that disc IS the TWO servings? Did you know you are supposed to eat only 2.4 oz of noodles? Who eats that??? THERE IS NOT ONE PICTURE ON THIS SITE THAT SHOWS AN ACTUAL SINGLE SERVING. ALL OF THOSE BOWLS ARE HEAPING WITH NOODLES, THEY ARE PROBABLY EQUAL TO 4 SERVINGS. Tiny tiny tiny for 5 bucks a box! See my pic of this alleged 2 servings I made today. Damn near false advertising, I would think.
But, the noodles are very good, chewy, big and tasty. Just dont expect to be full.

The flavor of the sauce is soooo good and the noodles cook so perfectly! I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner…every single day.

I'm surprised by all the good reviews for these noodles because they were an immediate no for me. The noodles themselves are good, and while the sauce does coat the noodle well (as someone else pointed out), the sauce itself is not good. It's salty and bitter, and i would even go so far as to call it sour! I was actually happy to see some other people had the same reaction because my expectations were so high for these, I thought maybe I was just going crazy, but it seems like other people also had the same reaction to the flavor. I couldn't even finish eating them, which was annoying because they're kinda pricey for packaged noodles.

The texture of the noodles, like everything from Omsom, is fantastic. However, I am not a fan of this sauce. The texture is silky and rich and coats the noodles beautifully but it's overly salty and sour! Since I added kimchi to my portion, I wondered if that was why. Nope! Super disappointing after the Garlic Black Pepper, the first product I tried, which is stellar.

The soy garlic (aka bull shit) noodles taste awful. Its so sour??? Like why is it sour??? It’d be fine i guess if it tasted good and sour but it DOESNT. I cant believe anybody likes this flavor. Its like objectively horrendous. Did this get passed on to get produced bc they were like “eh its still edible so who cares if it tastes good”??? Seriously what is wrong w the people who created this? If its the two asian women on the packaging, I hereby denounce you from the asian community. You are NOT part of us. I hope your business fails.
