Ingredients
- 4-6 scallion stalks, thinly sliced (both whites and greens)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar

Instructions
Stove-top method:
- Heat vegetable oil in a small saucepan. Place sliced scallions in a heatproof bowl. Pour hot oil over scallions - be careful of oil splatter! Mix in salt and sugar.
OR
Microwave method:
- Combine scallions, sugar, salt, and oil in a microwave safe bowl. Cook on high for one minute.
