Ingredients
Chili Sesame Saucy Noodles

- Omsom Chili Sesame Saucy Noodles
- 1 ½ lb. steak (we like ribeye)
- 1 tbsp. neutral oil
- 1 egg yolk (optional)
Chimichurri Ingredients
- 1 cup parsley, large stems removed
- ¼ cup cilantro, large stems removed
- 3 cloves garlic
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tsp. salt, plus more to taste
Instructions
Make your chimichurri!
- Combine all the ingredients in a food processor + pulse until well blended, pausing occasionally to scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula. Make adjustments to taste + set aside.
Prep your steak!
- Pat steak dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper to your liking. Heat oil in a pan on medium-high heat until oil starts to shimmer.
- Sear steak on each side until cooked to your liking. Cook a thin steak (~1 inch) for ~2 min per side, and a thicker steak (~2 inch) for ~4 min per side. (Pro tip: a medium-rare steak should feel bouncy to the touch, in between soft and firm!)
- Remove from heat and set aside to rest for ~10 min. Once rested, slice into 1/2’’ strips against the grain.
Let’s get cooking!
- Prepare Omsom noodles per package instructions.
- Top with sliced steak. Drizzle chimichurri sauce over the steak. Garnish with edible gold leaf and a raw egg yolk (optional, for extra decadence). Mix + enjoy!
